SSG’s Kang Jin-sung met his family team a day after his trade.

On the 26th, the day after he switched from Doosan to SSG스포츠토토, he visited Jamsil Baseball Stadium for an away game against Doosan.

Upon arriving at the stadium, Kang visited the Doosan camp. The Doosan coaching staff greeted him with a smile as he arrived in his new uniform.

Park Kye-beom, who had spent a lot of time with Doosan, hugged him and said hello.

On the 25th, Doosan made a one-for-one trade for outfielder Kang Jin-sung and SSG right-handed pitcher Kim Jung-woo.

Kang joined the NC in the fourth round (33rd overall) of the 2012 draft and moved to Doosan as compensation for 2022 free agent Park Geon-woo. In 2020, he played in 121 games for the NC, batting .390 (122-for-395) with 12 home runs, helping the NC win the overall title.

After moving to Doosan, he struggled last year with a 1-for-6 record in 40 games. This year, he played just three games in the first team (1-for-3) and was mostly in the second team. This trade could be a big turning point for him.

In the previous game, Kang came in as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the ninth inning, trailing 3-8, and was retired on a grounder in front of the second baseman.
