Hwang Seon-Hong Ho defeated Iraq with Go Young-Jun’s winning goal and won two consecutive victories. 

The under-22 (U-22) Korean national soccer team, led by head coach Hwang Seon-hong, defeated Iraq 1-0 in the Doha Cup U-22 friendly match held at the Qatar Club Stadium on the 26th at 2:30 am (Korean time). This was the second consecutive win following the 3-0 win over Oman. 

The starting list was revealed before the game. Heo Yul, Hong Yun-sang, Kwon Hyuk-gyu, Park Kyu-hyeon, Choi Kang-min, Jang Si-young, Park Chang-hwan, Jung Han-min, Lee Sang-hyeok, Cho Hyeon-taek, and Kim Jeong-hoon started. 

Iraq started with Amir Ahmed, Hussein Abdullah, Karasad, Karar Mohammed, Nihad Mohammed, Muntader Abdullamer, Marco Parji, Zayed Tasin, Josef Al Imam, Mustafa Sadun and Rida Abdulaziz. 

Korea opened the door first. In the 8th minute of the first half, Cho Hyeon-taek, Heo Yul, and Choi Kang-min continued to pass, breaking down the opponent’s defense. Jeong Han-min then tried a right-footed shot, but it got caught on the defensive wall. 

In the 12th minute of the first half, Choi Kang-min received Jeong Han-min’s pass inside the box and attempted a right-footed shot, but it also hit the defender’s body and went out.

In the 26th minute of the first half, Jeong Han-min threatened the goal with a powerful right-footed shot from outside the box. When the goalkeeper cleared it바카라, Heo Yul tried again with his left foot, but it flew high.

After Hong received a corner kick in extra time in the first half, Korea shot with his left foot, but it hit the defense and went high. The first half ended 0-0. 

At the start of the second half of Han Gyo-woon, Ko Young-jun was put in to make a change. 

In the 18th minute of the second half, Korea had a chance to score. Heo Yul drove the ball up into the box and gave up a backheel pass, which Cho Hyun-taek connected with a left-footed shot. It was a low, non-stop shot, but the goalkeeper parried it and did not lead to a goal. 

In the 19th minute of the second half, coach Hwang Seon-hong took out Heo Yul and added Hong Si-hoo to score the winning goal. This hit right there. In the 44th minute of the second half, Hong Si-hoo passed to Ko Young-jun, who penetrated into the box, and Ko Young-jun scored the opening goal with a right-footed shot. 

Five minutes of additional time were given in the second half. Iraq got a free kick from a long distance in the box, but Al-Qaycin’s left-footed kick went high. In the last minute, South Korea blocked Iraq’s wave of offensive and kept the victory.
