KT Wiz infielder Lee Ho-yeon collided while defending during the game and was replaced twice due to pain in the left thigh.

Lee Ho-yeon collided with right fielder Kim Min-hyeok while trying to catch Lotte number 4 Jeon Jun-woo’s fly ball while defending in the bottom of the first inning. Lee Ho-yeon couldn’t get up for a while after collapsing on the ground. Eventually, the medical team waiting at the stadium ran to the ground with a stretcher. Lee Ho-yeon gestured that it was okay and digested the game. 

Lee Ho-yeon was replaced by pinch hitter Park Kyung-soo in the second at-bat in the second inning. The team said, “Lee Ho-yeon felt pain in his left thigh after colliding with Kim Min-hyeok during defense in the bottom of the first inning, so he was replaced for protection. He is currently undergoing icing treatment.”
