Lee Sang-ho (28, Nexen Tire) ranked 5th on the second day of the 2022-2023 International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard World Cup Canada Tournament.

Lee Sang-ho failed to advance to the semifinals by losing to Oskar Kviatkowski (Poland) by 1.08 seconds in the quarterfinals of the men’s parallel giant slalom at the 2022-2023 FIS Snowboard World Cup held in Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada on the 27th (local time).

Lee Sang-ho, who finished second with a time of 1:18.75 in the preliminary round with 48 players, tried to advance to the medal two days in a row following the silver medal in the parallel giant slalom held at the same venue the day before, but finished in fifth place.

Lee Sang-ho advanced to the final by beating Kviatkowski by 0.47 seconds in the semifinals the previous day.

Kviatkowski, who defeated Lee 먹튀검증 Sang-ho in the quarterfinals that day, eventually won the championship.

Lee Sang-ho, the overall winner of the 2021-2022 Snowboard World Cup Alpine Men’s Division, had no news of a medal entering the 2022-2023 season, but with a silver medal the day before, he stood on the World Cup podium 10 months after winning the bronze medal at the German competition in March last year.

Lee Sang-ho’s best performance in the 2022-2023 season before this two-game series in Canada was 9th in the opening match in Germany in December last year, and he finished 2nd and 5th in this Canadian competition, revealing the prospect of the world championship in February.

Kim Sang-gyeom (34, High1), who advanced to the round of 16 with 13th place in the preliminaries, was defeated by Alexander Pyre (Austria) in the quarterfinals and finished in 8th place.
