Typhoon No. 2 ‘Mawar’ heads north toward Korea and Japan… On the 25th, ‘Hinnam No-level’ concerns about hitting
Typhoon No. 2 ‘ MAWAR ‘ is heading north toward Korea and Japan. The strength of the typhoon is expected to be comparable to that of ‘ Hinnamnor스포츠토토 ‘, which caused great damage to the Gyeongsangbuk-do region last year, so attention is focused on whether it will land on the Korean Peninsula.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced the predicted path of Typhoon ‘Mawar’, which developed the existing No. 4 tropical depression at 3:00 pm on the 21st. Typhoon ‘Mawar’ was observed to pass through the sea about 820 km south-southeast of Guam at 3:00 am on the 21st and pass the sea about 560 km northwest of Guam at 3:00 pm on the 25th.
It is expected that the intensity will develop from ‘medium’ to ‘strong’ as it passes through Guam on the 23rd and 24th and heads to Okinawa, Japan. Also, around 3:00 pm on the 25th, as it settles in the southeast of Okinawa, Japan, a sea near 560 km northwest of Guam, it is expected that the intensity will increase as ‘very strong’.
‘Very strong’ is the second strongest among medium, strong, very strong, and super strong . The Korea Meteorological Administration explains that people and large stones could be blown away. It is the same intensity as when typhoon ‘Hinnamno’ landed on the Korean Peninsula in August last year.
However, the Korea Meteorological Administration explained that the typhoon’s flow path is flexible, so it is checking whether it will affect Korea.
